Warsaw Booster’20 is an acceleration program for the best technological start-ups. The accelerator aims to support young companies in enhancing their business competences. Participants of this year’s edition will receive individual and tailor-made support to their most urgent needs from mentors, advisors, and Program Partners. 

One of the strengths of this year’s edition is the engagement of corporates that have decided to support founders in their growth.

The initiator of the Program is the City of Warsaw, and the operator is a consortium of three foundations with unique and vast experience in supporting innovation in variety of sectors, initiating valuable public and private cooperations: The Coalition for Polish Innovations, Mobile Open Society through Technology (MOST), and Startup Hub Poland.

Who is the program aimed at?

Warsaw Booster’20 welcomes ambitious entrepreneurs interested in individual support fitting their current needs and acquiring knowledge from the best industry experts and ecosystem insiders. 

The program is open for young technology companies (existing not longer than 3 years) and to founders without having the legal business entity (project teams). The condition is to conduct business (or intend to do so) in Warsaw – the leading hub of innovation in CEE.

In this year’s edition of Warsaw Booster we particularly look for solutions, products and services that support the innovative transformation of the city – environmental, economic, social, etc. Our social attention is devoted to the technologies like:

  • artificial intelligence (AI),
  • internet of things (IoT),
  • analysis of large data sets (big data),
  • cloud computing,
  • virtual reality (VR) and extended reality (AR).

All participants qualified for the Warsaw Booster’20 will be invited to the acceleration based on the Individual Development Path. Activities,  training, as well as mentors’ and advisors’ support will be tailored to the Participant’s profile and real needs. More than 30 companies and organizations are partnering with the program and nearly 70 mentors are to be involved.

Each of the teams will gain access to entrepreneurship leaders and corporate experts supporting this year’s edition of the Program. By sharing their knowledge and experience, every team will be able to develop its potential and increase chances of obtaining investment capital.

At the end of the Program, 3 top projects standing out with the highest development during the acceleration by their initiative and potential for further growth will be additionally rewarded with grants of PLN 45,000, PLN 30,000, and PLN 12,500.

The Coalition for Polish Innovations Foundation is a cross-sectoral network that strengthens links within the innovation ecosystem by promoting standards of good practice and wise legislation. It creates optimal conditions for the development of the innovation ecosystem in Poland. It defines and implements specific pro-innovative solutions and facilitates the development of the R&D sector, as well as increasing the level of innovation in the Polish economy.


The MOST Foundation

The MOST Foundation supports the development of technology entrepreneurs and companies with a positive impact. It provides strategic advice on innovative technological, organizational, and marketing solutions. Over the years, the Foundation has developed its methods of operation, whose effectiveness is confirmed by customers. As a Centre of Innovation (CI), it supports the processes of implementing innovations in companies, through MOSTmentors – a network of field mentors with extensive industry experience created by the Foundation.

Startup Hub Poland

Since 2012, the foundation combines the best technology startups building their value on the original IP in niche industrial applications with leading accelerators, business angels, VC funds through the support of international experts in technology transfer, and commercialization of research results. The main goal of Startup Hub Poland is to build a deep-tech market in Central and Eastern Europe, rich in technology lessons, with Poland as a regional hub.
